About

I am a Los Angeles-based novelist, blogger, poet and lyricist. This blog is devoted to my erotic fiction novel “Monogamy Sucks,” which is being published as an e-book on Dec. 1, 2010 by Lazy Day Publishing. The first six chapters of my book are featured on this blog, along with a detailed description of the process toward turning my novel into a published e-book. My novel is kind of an edgy male version of “Sex in the City.” It makes some interesting comments about monogamy, relationships, casual sex and the world of swinging. Also from time to time I blog about my fellow writer’s projects.

Hilarious is all I have to say! Ever consider putting your writing in a novel format? Check us out and let me know if you have any questions. Your writing style reminds me of Tucker Max a bit.

I’m not sure how to contact you. You once indicated an interest in my book, “Digging Deep: A Writer Uncovers His Marriages.” It was just published, and I want to discuss it with you.

    Hello George,

I was wondering if you would like to be part of a round table chat, about the craft of writing, that I would record and put up once or twice a month. I will get others to join the chat. I would be the moderator, a lot like the show, The McLaughlin Group. I will typically, for each episode, covers one of the following issues about the subject of writing, publishing and marketing.

I hope that you will want to be apart of this chat.

Once I have all the people aboard I will set up the day for the recording and give you more details.

    Hello George,

Would Saturdays, 12 noon to 2 PM West Coast Time, for taping the Master Class work for you or do we need to be a little later in the day?

Hi John, I think 1 p.m. -3 p.m. PST would work better for me but I could do Noon-2 p.m. for your Master Class show.

But I just want to stress that there will be some upcoming and occassional Saturdays I will be out of town and won’t be able to
      participate in the show.

Thanks again for the opportunity and let me know when the first show is.

    Hello George,

You were wonderful and patience with all the tech troubles. Thank you so much for a great show. When you do a FREE BlogTalkRadio account, like I do, I’m to cheap to pay for it, they only give you 45 minutes to tape and 30 minutes for the live part. BTR FREE account only lets you do one show per day, I had to quickly make a new account, get the info out to all of you and keep my sanity.

Thanks for helping this crazy man,

    John Rakestraw

      Hi Friend,
How are you? Thanks for the kind words and congrats on your upcoming book launch.
Best advice I can give you to realize that the success of your book is up to you. You need to be
ready to promote your books through Twitter, FB and anywhere you can. It is a long process, but
it is very much worth it. Networking with other writers, too, as another way to spread the word.
Let me know when you book is out and I will tweet about it, too.

      Thanks again,

      George Pappas
author of Monogamy Sucks, Dear Her and Indulgence.
